Co-op Co-ordinator Position

 

Kingston Co-operative Homes is a not-for-profit, mixed-income housing co-operative of 102 houses looking for a new Co-ordinator/Manager. 

The Co-ordinator works directly for the Board of Directors and is responsible for all financial, governance and maintenance aspects of the organization. This challenging position is ideal for an effective professional with superior communication and organizational skills with an understanding of the principles of co-operative housing.

This is a permanent full-time position with some evening and weekend work. Expected start date: November 15, 2017.

 Principal Co-ordinator duties Include:

1.         Financial Administration including creating budgets and subsidy reports, supervising accounts payable, housing charge collection, financial statements,  tax payments, and working with Co-op auditors and government agencies.

2.         Maintain property condition via inspections and reports, assigning repairs, capital planning.
